Terms of Service

Last updated: September 7, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of freeutilityprograms.com (the "Site"), operated by Free Utility Programs ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or submitting our eligibility form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What We Do

Free Utility Programs is an independent service that helps residents learn about and apply for the Southern California Edison (SCE) Charge Ready Home program. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Southern California Edison. Charge Ready Home is a program of Southern California Edison.

No Guarantee of Eligibility or Rebate

Program eligibility requirements, rebate amounts, and funding availability are set solely by SCE and may change at any time without notice. Any information we provide about your potential eligibility is an estimate only and is not a guarantee that you will qualify for or receive a rebate. Final eligibility and rebate decisions are made by SCE and its program administrators, not by us.

Not Professional Advice

Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or electrical engineering advice. Electrical work should only be performed by licensed contractors in accordance with applicable codes and permits.

Contractor Referrals

If you ask us to, we may connect you with licensed electrical contractors who participate in the program. Contractors are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Any agreement for work is solely between you and the contractor, and we are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of their work. We encourage you to verify any contractor's license and insurance before hiring them.

Your Responsibilities

When using the Site, you agree to:
